Did I?

It is a poem of desire, love and self doubt. It is an exception to the reality....

Filtering rays from the clouds above,
And a warmth for my eyes as pure love,
I hook onto the moment and smile as I say,
A tickle in my heart and the joyous sway……
An evening of solitude and an eternal bliss,
It was a lakeside and the sensuous kiss…
Fingers mingled and were driving the tide,
I knew its heaven and it just isn’t a ride….
A chirp had never been so melodious,
Feathered one never to me seemed callous,
It was all rhythm and softness for my heart all through,
Owned a trickling joy and a unknown ache all though,
I wished it lingers for a dateless time through my life,
Then I thought have I done enough to have it? Did I?
